VENDOR INFORMATION

 

Space is being offered to All Vendors (over 18 yrs.) on Main Street and/or inside the Sportsplex on the arena floor. This is a family-oriented event with a no-alcohol policy. 

 

NEW -. Completed applications, application fees AND appropriate Health Unit approval forms/letters are to be submitted by January 31st, 2019.  Applications received WITHOUT their signed Health Unit Approval form or letter (for Vendors selling food) will be returned.  All Vendors are asked to provide a concise description of ALL items that they wish to sell at the festival AND provide photos of their products. 

NO MAPLE SYRUP PRODUCTS CAN BE SOLD unless maple syrup is purchased directly from Festival maple syrup producers.

Vendors who will be permitted to participate in the 2019 festival will be contacted by email (preferred) or by phone if you don’t have an email – by February 28th, 2019.  Please ensure you include both your email (if applicable) and phone number on your application.

 

BOOTHS ON MAIN STREET

Approximately 10’ wide x 10’ deep                                              $50.00

A maximum of two (2) adjoining booths per vendor on Main Street is accepted.

The vendor is responsible for any tables, chairs, garbage containers and coverage from the weather that they may require for the day. There will be no indoor arrangements made for Main Street vendors in case of foul weather – the festival goes as planned Sunshine OR Rain OR Snow.

 

BOOTHS IN SPORTSPLEX

ALSO - The 10’ x 10’ and/or 15’ x 10’ booths can be combined to suit your needs.

 

A limited number of 8-foot tables, chairs, and electrical hook-ups (maximum of one per vendor booth, as available) inside.

 

Please Note: You will be positioned on Main Street or in the Sportsplex and no guarantees can be made as to location of vendor; however, we will do our best to accommodate any requests. The decisions of the organizers are final, with no recourse.  A vendor map for both locations will be on our Website – powassanmaplesyrupfestival.ca by April 1st, 2019 (if possible).

 

ALL VENDORS – You must be set up by 9 am and CANNOT start packing up until 4 pm – Vendors who pack up and leave early will not be permitted to attend the following year’s show.

 

Cheques are to be made payable to “Powassan Maple Syrup Festival” / E transfers will be accepted ONLY  upon receipt of Vendor and Health Unit forms AND after arrangements have been made with the Secretary – K. Bester – at: kbester@powassan.net  / (705) 724 2813

(NOTE: Post-dated cheques will not be accepted – NSF Cheques will be charged $30.00)
